  • Small pinch of salt

Optional Additions

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon plain Greek yogurt
  • Extra blueberries or sliced banana for topping

Instructions

1. Prepare the Oats
Place the oats, milk, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat until the mixture begins to simmer.

2. Add the Blueberries
Stir the blueberries into the oats. Reduce the heat to low and cook for about 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally until the oats become soft and creamy.

3. Adjust Flavor
Taste the oatmeal and add honey or maple syrup if you want more sweetness. Mix in chia seeds or Greek yogurt if desired.

4. Serve
Divide the oatmeal between two bowls. Top with additional fruit or a sprinkle of cinnamon before serving.
